Life HAS been good. It really has. There have been a lot of changes in my life in the last few months, and up until about a month ago, life's been crazy yo. Like, really crazy. But it's starting to settle down- except on the job front. But on another note...
It's been nice being back in Colorado. Porter is so pumped to be close to his dad again, and it makes me so happy to see him happy. Things between his dad and I have been great- very unlike what it was like a year ago when I moved back to IL. But it's been so good. They spend lots of time together, and we're able to arrange that with ease and no arguments or disagreements. It's nice.
Fall is here and it's beautiful. The leaves are all changing and we're keeping busy doing stuff outside because the weather has been amazing. Not too hot, not too cold...just perfect. When i'm not busy enjoying the weather, i'm applying for jobs. Not so much fun, but hopefully something will come soon!
I've been cooking more than usual- made an awesome pesto stuffed chicken that I NEED to make again and post a recipe for- too good not to share! We've been trying to eat a little healthier around here and i'm starting to discover some really awesome, good for us meals...it's been fun :)
Anyway, off to spend some time outside before it starts to get dark (i'm not looking forward to daylight savings time at all!)...have a great rest of your Sunday! GO BRONCOS!
