I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Redwings, and it's always awesome to go see them beat the Avs ;)

After the game, some of us went to see BlueTech at Cervantes.

We took Porter to visit the Denver Zoo for the first time ever yesterday.

I haven't even been there in almost 5 years!

There are so many new things!

We packed a lunch and ate in the sunshine,

saw tons of animals, and rode the carousel and the train.

It was an amazing, beautiful day :)

Saturday, Porter and I did our first 5K!

(I walked it, of course)

It was sooo much fun! 

Everyone wears white, and throughout the race you get covered in dyed corn starch 

and sprayed with dyed water.

You end up looking like a big tie dye mess :)

Jefferson and I went downtown and spent a good 4-5 hours just walking around and people watching, and picture taking of course :)

Last weekend, Phish was in town and played 3 nights in a row at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. I went one night (Saturday night) and it was so much fun! Tons of friends from out of town were visiting too! I considered bringing Porter, there were a lot of kids there, but decided against it and had a blogger friend babysit instead :)
