Saturday, Porter and I did our first 5K!
(I walked it, of course)
It was sooo much fun! 
Everyone wears white, and throughout the race you get covered in dyed corn starch 
and sprayed with dyed water.
You end up looking like a big tie dye mess :)

If you don't like it, change it. If you can't change it, change the way you think about it.

    Hey I just stumbled across your blog! I am also a young single mama- my daughter Jolene is 9 months (and Porter was a boys name I was considering, its my mothers maiden name). This race looks SO FUN. I wish we had something likes this where I live...
