Some pics I took while working yesterday. It was sunny and 65 degrees, so we played outside :)

The cookie exchange party yesterday was fun :) I got so many different kinds of awesome cookies to bring home...mmmmm. And i'm going to another one next Sunday :) I love the holidays.

I worked today...a shorter day than usual, but apparently i'm making up for that tomorrow by working extra early. Ian was especially fun this afternoon after his nap. He was really happy and giggly. It was a good day :)

A couple guys from Yamn are playing tonight downtown at Sancho's and I really wish I could go. All of my friends are :( But they don't start until almost 10pm and I would have to drive a half hour home whenever I was done being there. Shoooot. Gotta wake up way too early for that. Dang it.

Today I went to a class at Belly Bliss in Denver. It was a cute little place. They sell a handful of things, but it is more an educational/fitness place.

"Belly Bliss is a business dedicated to enhancing the lives of mothers and their families by empowering them and serving as a resource for health and education throughout pregnancy, birth and beyond."

The class was called "What to expect when you're done expecting," it was taught by a pediatrician, and it was only $5! PLUS! :) It was very informational on the topics of breastfeeding, helping the baby to sleep better, pet "siblings", and basically taking care of ourselves.

Afterwards, I came home and baked a bunch of cookies for a cookie exchange that i'm going to. They turned out awesome. I made the same oatmeal ones I made the other day, and they came out even better this time! I figured out how to make the drizzle look better (made it way thinner) and it actually turned out to look like drizzle instead of huge blobs like it did last time, haha. I also made them a little bit smaller and baked them for a little longer so they wouldn't fall apart as much as they did last time (which was fine with me, I love really soft cookies, but since i'm bringing them somewhere to give out, I figured it would be easier if they weren't falling apart).

Hmm...makes sense to me.

Did I mention that the kids I nanny for are not allowed to watch tv at all?

I am craving chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. Like, 2 or 3 layers of cake and 2 layers of frosting. I don't even usually like cake that much, but it sounds soooooo good right now. Too bad there is currently a blizzard outside and i don't feel like going to the store and getting out of the car. Brrr. I NEED A CAKE DELIVERY PLEASE! :)
