This is as good as it's gonna get, ha. I don't take very many pictures of myself...

Day 7 of Blogtember.

Ahhh. I am so tired. P is sleeping in my bed and i'm sitting in my new little desk nook in my room (post to come soon, I LOVE IT!). I'm listening to Pandora and attempting to write this blog post. I've been trying to not let myself get lazy and not post and I haven't done a great job in the past few days.

Day 6 of Blogtember. (I skipped day 5, I may end up coming back to it eventually...)
Describe a distinct moment when my life took a turn.

There are so many, but I think one of the biggest was when I found out I was pregnant. Before that, I was selfish and partied a lot. My life wasn't really full of much "meaning" and when I found out about P in my belly, a lot changed for me. All of the sudden my life had so much more meaning than it did before that. Trivial things that seemed so important became meaningless, and other things became so much more important. He was such a good thing to happen to me at the time in my life, and he is truly my little miracle :)

My life took a turn for the better and I wouldn't want it any other way!

A time I was afraid.

My biggest fear is getting into a bad car accident.
About 3 a half years ago, I got in my first car accident. I had just gotten out of class, I had one of my dogs withe me, I was driving home on I-70 at about 70 mph. I was trying to get off at a particular exit, and it came up really quickly. I attempted to cut over to make it and my car started fishtailing (I think I hit gravel or something). I was going head first towards one of those black and yellow striped median divider things. When I realized that I wasn't getting control, I cut the wheel so I would hit the side of my car and not head on, and ended up hitting the striped thing with the right side of my car, towards the back end.
After crashing, my car spun 3 or 4 times and ended coming to a stop in the middle of the highway facing the oncoming traffic that was also going about 70 mph. People were swerving around me and by some miracle no one hit me.
A police officer just happened to be coming up the highway in the opposite direction. He saw the whole thing and pulled across the median and parked in front of my car with his lights flashing to help people slow down and not hit me.
I truly believe that police officer saved my life, and my dogs life. It was only a matter of time before someone who wasn't paying enough attention would have hit me head on going 70 mph. Both Lola and I were fine, not hurt at all, but my car was totaled :(

That's probably the time I was most afraid, in those probably 15 seconds from when I knew I was going to crash until the cop pulled in front of me.

Now if i'm even remotely close to missing an exit, I'll pass it and take the next one and turn around!

First things first, tonight is the first Bronco's game of the season! Although i'm not a huge football fan, it's fun to see everyone else get excited, and it's also fun to dress Porter for game days :)

Anyway, for Day 3 of Blogtember.
Pass on some useful advice.

Hmm. I'm not really the greatest at giving advice. I'm good at listening to people, but advice i'm not so great at. I've found that i've given advice that I myself didn't even take, so it's easier to just not give any I guess? I also find that I'm not really good at taking other people's advice, I tend to want to learn the hard way more often than not. There's nothing wrong with that, right? Haha.

Day two of Blogtember!
If I could take three months off of my typical life, what would I do?

Oh my gosh. What WOULDN'T I do??? Assuming I also have all the money I also don't have in my typical life, haha, I would travel. All over. I haven't been on a vacation in over three years and it's time. I'd take P with me for parts of the three months, and the other parts would be MY time :)

Costa Rica, New Zealand, Australia, Hawaii, a cruise in the Caribbean, all of the above. I want beach and warm weather and lots of sunshine!

Ok, here I go starting another one of these prompts for blog posts for a month things...hosted by Jenni at Story of My Life.
She did one in May that I attempted to do and I made it like, 8 days. Let's see if I can actually finish this one (or maybe half at least? haha we'll see!).
I like these because they get me to actually write, and you guys get to know me a little better. Win win! :)

Mom got remarried to when I was 4ish.

Parent's got divorced while I was in 5th grade.
Lived with my dad until Freshman year.
Moved a half hour away into my mom's house.
Went to community college for a year after high school.
Moved to Michigan for college at Northern Michigan University.
Lived there for 5ish years.
Moved to CO.
Partied a lot.
Met Porter's dad.
Dated for a while, had Porter.
Became a single mom.
Met the person I love like I've never loved before.
Livin'.
