Happy New Years Eve my friends.  It would have been 3 years today. We didn't make it. It looks like 2012 is going to be a drastically different/hard/trying year, and i'm not sure if I will be around here very much. While I need the support, I can't really bear to write about my shitty life right now. My only option at this point is to move back to Illinois. We had such a wonderful Christmas in Kansas this year. We stayed at Jeremy's parent's house, and all three of his brothers were there and it was so much fun. I love when they're all together.  Santa came to visit on Christmas Eve and brought the kids presents, it was so cute! Porter didn't cry (although it looked like he might a couple times, haha). I don't care how dorky I am saying this, but I love fanny packs. Seriously, they are so convenient and practical! I don't really even remember using them much when I was younger, but in the past few years, I have. The only time I wear them are at music festivals, but it's such a perfect opportunity. They usually go pretty well with whatever i'm wearing (i've worn it over pants and dresses too), and it holds my camera, money- really anything I need for the few hours i'm away from my campsite.
