I have sooo many good pictures from Illinois that it's hard to decide which ones to use. So these next few posts will be FULL OF PICTURES, just so ya know :)

Now, don't get me wrong, I LOVE holding Porter and everything, but being home was awesome because I got to be hands free so often :) Everyone wanted to hold him, and I didn't mind one bit! He seems to like being held by other people too, I hope he stays that way!

The last few days of the trip, Porter started getting really fussy at night. Like, waking up to eat, fussing through his whole feeding, and not going to sleep right afterwards like he normally does. I started giving him 5 ounces each feeding and that has seemed to help. I think he might be having a growing spurt because he's eating like crazy! But the first few days we were there it was SO HOT and HUMID so he probably needed to keep eating to stay hydrated. We even gave him a bottle of water at one point and he liked it- didn't drink that much of it, but some. I also put a banana popsicle on his lips one time and it was hilarious! He was puckering up his mouth and licking his lips, he loved it! Haha. 

In the past 2 weeks he has really started to smile a ton! It's soooo stinkin' cute.

And he's also cooing now, he did it for the first time really for my mom, she was happy :)

*not sure if you noticed, but Porter has his bib on a LOT. Haha. he spits up often, so a lot of times I just keep the dang bib on so I don't have to change him 19898 times a day.
