Tummy
4:07 PMYesterday Porter was awake for 5 hours straight- the longest he's been awake since we got home! He was also up for a few hours this morning too. I think he's going through a growth spurt because he's been eating more often and been kind of fussy more than usual. We've been letting him take naps on his tummy as long as we're sitting right next to him...he loves being on his stomach (which is getting to be quite round these days, haha) :)
He's been eating almost as much as I've been pumping for him, so today I started taking "Goat's Rue" drops to try and up my breast milk production. I also got Fenugreek Tea, but we'll see how the other stuff works first. He still won't eat very much directly from me- i've just been pumping like crazy and feeding him bottles. Sucks...I hope he catches on soon because I don't know how long this whole process is going to work for me!

Ahhh...he so adorable! I'm interested to know how those milk remedies work. You are doing what I'm planning to do (pump/bottle). I've never been interested in breast feeding, but still want Baby to get the milk. Weird, I know, but if I HAD to breastfeed I know I wouldn't and he'd be drinking formula, which I'd like to avoid.

Don't stress yourself out over the breastfeeding! I know, easier said than done. But I've truly been there. It was really hard for me, too, to keep up with supply. I hate to recommend oatmeal to you (because I still haven't eaten any since stopping BFing, haha) but I had it every morning for breakfast and I think it helped me increase milk production. Good luck! :)
