So yesterday the pediatrician told us that Porter would get his IV out today or tomorrow (because of the amount of milk he's been eating), but apparently it fell out on it's own last night and they decided not to put it back in! So he's done with the IV! Yay!! He was eating 24 cc's at each feeding last night and will be moved up to 36 cc's by the end of today (that's over an ounce per feeding!). He's an eater, just like his daddy :) He's also been really responsive to breast feeding as well, which is AWESOME and makes me so happy!

As you can see, he's under lights. He was borderline Jaundice so they decided to go ahead with the 24-48 hour treatment to get it over with sooner. So he's got his cool shades on and is tanning at the beach now (at least that's what I like to tell him) :) Haha. The nurse told me last night that he would be taken from the incubator and put into a crib when he's done with the light treatment too. WOOHOOO!

I just can't WAIT to take him home. It's the most weird/crappy/sad feeling to have had a baby but to go home without him :( He's been with me (in my belly) for over 7 months, and to have given birth to him and leave him there while I come home has been really really hard. I just want to be with him all the time!
