I'm usually a beef hamburger kind of person, but when I was at the store the other day I picked up some ground turkey because I knew Porter could eat that. After getting home, I googled for recipes using ground turkey.

I came across this website, and decided to make that...but with a few changes.

Let me tell you- THIS WAS SOOO GOOD. I should also tell you that I don't cook very often, and when I do, I usually like what I cook, but Jeremy doesn't. HE even loved this, and so did Porter (he ate the pureed version of course).

Italian Turkey Burgers with Honey Mustard Mayo


Ingredients: 
20 ounces lean ground turkey
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
1 clove garlic- minced
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
Freshly ground pepper
Hamburger buns
1/3 cup mayo
3 tablespoons honey mustard

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Combine ground turkey, cheese and seasonings. Mix well.
3. Shape turkey into 4 patties.
4. Place patties on a greased baking sheet.
5. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, checking to make sure they don't dry out.
6. Combine honey mustard and mayo, mix well.
7. Put burger on bun, put dressing on burger, and EAT!
