I promised a friend months ago I would make a curtain to cover his projector screen in his living room. He even went and bought the fabric himself, but it sat on my table FOREVER. Finally the other day I got the itch to sew, so I ran to the fabric store and got fabric to make some pants for Porter and Nora as well.
The curtain is almost done, and I made the pants and also a blanket for P as well :)
Now that i'm in the mood to sew, hopefully it'll last for a bit and I can make some more stuff :) I have fabric for two more pairs of pants for P so far...

While I was checking my emails this morning, I opened one that I get weekly from Macaroni Kid (it gives you a calendar of events in the area). I skimmed through it and saw that Thomas the Tank Engine was at the Colorado Railway about 20 mins away, and I immediately bought tickets. Holy heaven on earth for Porter!
So I threw my hair up, got him dressed and we were off. What a fun day! They had all kinds of things to see and do and train rides!
Perfect Sunday with my lil' bubba :)

I was randomly contacted by Diamond Candles to do a review and a contest and I of course agreed, because who doesn't want an awesome smelling candle with a ring inside?!?
I chose the Hawaiian Coconut scent, and OMG it smells so freakin' good! I have it in my room and it makes the entire upstairs smell awesome!
I patiently waited for the candle to burn about a quarter of the way down, and that's when I was able to get the ring out. It's enclosed in a foil packet so it's not covered in wax when you get it.
My ring didn't end up being worth anything considerable (they range from $10-$5,000), but it is pretty sweet looking and I wear it occasionly :)
Check out their website, Diamond Candles, and let me know which one you would get!
