This is the room that will soon be Porter's playroom. Yes, it's a huge mess. And the empty floor area to the right? Craft Binder

I like to be organized. And while Pinterest is somewhat organized with boards and stuff, I still don't feel like it's organized to me. I always think about the fact that I am going to pin something and then completely forget about it. So this is what i've decided to do. Dogs

We've had Jeremy's ex-girlfriend's dog, Roxy, since late last week. Wedding

Yesterday we went to our friends Brian and Amy's wedding. It was beautiful, and so much fun :) Porter made it until almost 9pm, then Jeremy took him home and I stayed with the girls and went out in Boulder after the reception was over. Sewing!

GUESS WHAT PEOPLE?!?! I am getting a sewing machine next week!!!!! WWAAAHHHOOOOOOO!!!! My mom gave me her old one at the end of my college years, I never used it, and when I moved to Colorado in my small car (a 2 door Cavalier at the time), it got left behind in mom's garage. And since I usually fly back to visit, I can never bring it back with me. But. We are driving out there for my sister's wedding next week- I'm bringin' that baby home to CO! Thrifted

These bibs are AMAZING. They even have straps to strap the legs around Porter's legs. These will save me from having to strip him down to his diaper for feedings :) And the best part? They are homemade, and were only $2 for all 4 (at my favorite kids consignment store in Denver). Yippeeee! ...

Cloth Diapering!

I finally did it. I went to the store and I bought as much as I could afford right now to get us started. I purchased a Rumparoos cover, a Flip cover, and 12 prefold diapers. I also had a Grovia cover that I was given by a good friend. So 3 covers, and 12 prefolds. Oh yeah, and a Snappi. And another P update

Well, P slept until about 10:30pm last night, when I woke him up taking his temp (by accident) because he was burning up again. He was up to 104.1 or something. I kinda freaked out because I knew I couldn't give him any more meds for another hour. I ended up putting a cool washcloth on his head for a bit and kinda patted it over his back, and that seemed to get his temp down a little bit. Then at 11:30 we gave him more meds, which he immediately puked up. Freaking out again. I didn't want...

Update on Port Dawg

Porter had his 6 month check up this morning. He did pretty well considering he got jabbed in the leg 3 times and {most likely} gross tasting medicine shoved into his mouth. Poor peanut. He weighs 17.7 lbs and is 24 inches long. He is in the 50th percentile for weight and 70th for height...and his head is in the 30th percentile (don't remember the exact measurement though...). Doc says he's perfect. And he scored well on the test I had to take for him (about his motor skills and communication and stuff). Well, I got the above...
