Just Write...#1

I've seen this on a few blogs lately, and I decided I wanted in on it. The whole purpose is to just write...something I often find hard to do. There are so many things i think of in my mind to write about, but have such a hard time putting to words what's going on in my head. This is a problem- to me, anyways. Music Monday {Lotus}

My little artist

Porter finger painted for the first time yesterday. He loved it! He smeared around the paint for a while, then stared at his hands like "what the hell is this stuff??!?"- it was hilarious. He painted three different pictures at three separate times. I'm planning on hanging them above his crib in his new room when we move :) The outcome :) I decided I wanted to put one of his initials on each canvas, so I used tape and drew each letter on it, and then left the tape on while Porter painted, and pulled the letter...

My new bedroom...

I can't even begin to explain how excited I am to decorate my new bedroom and our new place! I've been searching for ideas and inspiration in the past week, and here are some of the things i've come up with... {source} I plan on painting 3 walls a grey color, probably close to this one above... {source} And one wall a color close to this teal/turquoise color. I also like the frames with the ribbons attached... {source} I love the quote in the frame idea...i'll probably do a couple of these with different quotes in each... {source}...
