Porter,

You are 11 months old (as of over a week ago now). I didn't write a 10 month post because I was going through a lot at that time, and we were in IL for over 2 weeks then too. So this letter will include two whole months worth of milestones.

You are crawling around like a CHAMP. Seriously, you are gone in like, 1.5 seconds when you have a purpose. You started really crawling while we were in IL.

Within days of crawling, you also starting doing patty cake on your own when you hear us sing it to you.

And also within days of doing those things, you waved bye bye. You don't really do that now, but you did a few times. And I swear you said kitty kitty a few times too. A lot happened in those two weeks in IL.

You had the flu {as did I} and it was horrible. Yours lasted forEVER. Ok, well at least it felt like it. But really, you weren't yourself for almost a week.

I think the FIRST tooth you cut while we were there was part of the problem. And just 2 weeks ago you cut a second tooth. You now have one on the top and one on the bottom :) It's the cutest thing ever.

You are standing up on everything in sight. Grabbing things off of tables and shelves and out of cabinets and throwing them on the ground. You also just started walking with a push walker thingy...you giggle and are so proud of yourself.

You still love the dogs and the cat. Even though Lola snaps at you {in a nice way of course :)} you laugh at her like it's so hilarious. Lucy still lets you pull her ears without a care.

You love your cousins. You spent a lot of time with Alex in Illinois, and you spend tons of time with Lily here. You follow her around the house and watch her every move. I hope so bad that you have a sibling someday...

Teletubbies still keep your attention for longer than anything else. You climb up the tv stand so your standing with your face inches from the tv and laugh and shriek at them...it's so funny! We ended up moving the tv farther back (for your eyes' sake!).

You love food. Every kind of food. I honestly can't say that there's anything you don't like yet. At dinner time you get CRANKY until there's food in front of you {you eat around 5pm, and you start whining for food around 4}.

We weighed you as best we could at home a week or two ago, and you were at about 22 and a half lbs. You are wearing some 9 month stuff and some 12 month stuff.

You like music too. Music videos also keep your attention for a while. You literally sat and watched the entire Madonna halftime show without moving an inch. Haha.

You are still an awesome napper {thank you soooo much!}. You sleep for 2 hours and sometimes longer twice a day. Once in the morning and once in the afternoon. You still go to sleep at 6pm and wake up at 5:30 or 6am- and wake up two or three times during the night to eat.

We have started mixing organic vitamin D milk in with your formula to get you used to it. I can not WAIT for the day that I don't have to mix formula anymore :)

You are still such a happy baby. You do have your {bad} days, but I blame it on those stinkin' teeth. You are always smiling and laughing at everyone, and it makes my heart happy :) I love you so much P, you are my world and I wouldn't have it any other way!
